If you've spent any time talking to architects about construction administration, you've probably heard the same frustrations.

Too much lives in email. Information gets buried in PDFs. Decisions are scattered across inboxes, folders, spreadsheets, and meeting notes. And when something goes wrong months later, teams are left trying to reconstruct what happened.

Construction administration is one of the most important phases of a project, but it's also one of the hardest to manage well.

That's one of the reasons we're excited to share that Part3 is now an official Cornerstone Partner of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

For nearly 170 years, the AIA has supported architects through advocacy, education, and professional development. As a company focused exclusively on helping architects improve construction administration, we're proud to contribute to that mission and become part of the broader conversation about the future of practice.

At Part3, we believe construction administration deserves more attention than it gets today.

Architects spend years learning how to design buildings. Yet much of their risk, liability, and project stress shows up during construction. RFIs pile up. Submittals stall. Site observations need follow-up. Critical decisions get buried in email chains. The record that should protect the architect often ends up fragmented across dozens of systems.

The reality is that most firms are still managing construction administration using tools that were never designed for it.

We think there is a better way.

Our goal has always been simple: help architects spend less time chasing information and more time managing projects with confidence. That means creating a single source of truth for construction administration, improving collaboration between project stakeholders, and giving firms a complete record of every decision made throughout construction.

The AIA partnership gives us an opportunity to engage more directly with architects across the country, learn from the challenges they face, and contribute to conversations about how technology can improve practice without adding complexity.

Most importantly, it allows us to support the professionals doing some of the most important—and often most underappreciated—work in architecture.

We're looking forward to working alongside AIA members, chapters, and leadership to help move construction administration forward.

Because the future of CA shouldn't be more paperwork.

It should be better tools, better records, and better outcomes for architects.
